Wearing a face mask will be mandatory for all attendees at Georges River Council's Spring Foodies Market at Kogarah Park on Sunday.
"We encourage you to bring your own and will also provide face masks upon entry at the event," a Georges River Council spokesperson said.
"Council thanks the community in advance for their understanding as we all work together to manage and minimise the impacts of COVID-19 within our community."
The Spring Foodies Market will offer a range of international food including German hotdogs, French crepes, hand-made gnocchi, pasta, Indian food, Spanish paella, Asian cuisine, Portuguese tarts, ice cream and fresh lemonade.
Visitors will also be able to purchase fresh produce items like vegetables, jam, relish and marmalades.
The market will be takeaway only.
"It's on all day, so stop by for brunch, lunch and dinner," the spokesperson said.
The food markets form part of Georges River Council's COVID-19 Safe Community Events Program which features a series of online and physical events for the community to enjoy over the Spring/Summer period, while staying safe and healthy.
The program will bring a broad mix of events to the Georges River area from September, 2020 to February, 2021, to support local business.
