Emergency services combine to help young driver in Miranda crash

A woman, 19, was trapped in her car for about 30 minutes after an accident near Westfield Miranda this morning.

The two-car crash occurred on the northern side of the intersection of Kingsway and Kiora Road about 7.30am.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Miranda Fire Station worked to free the woman, who was then placed in the care of paramedics.

Two NSW Ambulance crews treated the woman, who reported chest and abdominal injuries, at the scene before she was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
