The final NSW based Woolworths Surfer Groms Comps pres. by Pic's Peanut Butter for 2020 wrapped up at North Cronulla Beach on Sunday with competitors surfing good 2-3 ft peaks.
In his final Groms competition, Freshwaters Fletcher Kelleher finished with a huge win over local Cronulla Boardriders Jnr champion Kash Brown in the blue ribbon Under-14 Boys division.
In the final Kelleher nailed a massive 18.50 two-wave heat total to take the win over Brown who needed another wave to push him.
In the Under-14 Girls Curl Curl's Ruby Trew notched up a solid 16.07 two-wave total to take the win, Cronulla Boardriders Grace Gosby finishing a good third with a priority lesson learnt.
Woolooware's Ollie Croft won the U 8's mixed, Gymea's Evie Fisher came second in the U12 girls and Cronulla's Jaime Paipa fourth in the U 10 girls.
The elite event saw male and female surfers competing in four different age divisions, starting at Under-8's through to the Under-14's.
