3Bridges Community board of directors have announced the appointment of incoming chief executive officer, Raj Nair.
The former Chief Operating Officer for RSL NSW for almost four year, Mr Nair has also held senior leadership positions in not-for-profit organisations including Northcott and Learning Links.
"Raj has been acting as the Financial Services Director since early July and has demonstrated a clear understanding of 3Bridges strategic priorities," 3Bridges chairperson Catriona Barry said.
"During this time Raj has gained the respect of many 3Bridges staff and volunteers and has shown he is passionate about the work our team performs for the community we serve."
Mr Nair has qualifications in finance and accounting and has held various senior roles focused on business transformation and development, operations, performance improvement, financial sustainability, compliance, and governance requirements.
He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has a Master of Finance and Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration.
"I look forward to doing all I can to ensure those in need of support, have their needs met," Mr Nair said.
"This will be achieved by continuing to provide quality service, initiating innovative programs promoting inclusion and diversity, advocating to those in power and most importantly, listening to our 3Bridges Community."
Mr Nair commences his role as chief executive officer on October 30.
