St George was chasing maximum points when their clash with Blacktown Mounties resumed at Hurstville Oval on Saturday.
The Dragons had rolled the visitors for just 121 before declaring 94-runs in front and sending Blacktown Mounties back in.
The Warriors had finished 1-14 in their second innings - 80 runs away from making Saints bat again and when play resumed on the second day of the match they ended on 9/121 before the weather turned and the rain came down.
In the bowling stakes, St George's Tom Ortiz collected 5-21 from 14 tight overs first innings and Nicholas Stapleton did the damage in the second taking 4/27-Saints winning by four wickets.
This week October 31 St George play a First Grade Limited Overs Cup Round two-one day game against Uni NSW at home.
The Dragons, winless after two rounds, claimed their first victory and are climbing the Belvidere Cup table and sitting one spot above their Sutherland neighbours.
