Modern East Asian cuisine comes to Kingsgrove RSL Club

Taja Dining, a new modern East Asian cuisine experience opens at Kingsgrove RSL Club on Wednesday.

Developed by culinary experts from Porterhouse Bistro Group, Taja will offer an exploration of the best cuisine of China, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and Nepal.

Kingsgrove RSL Club chief executive officer, Ian Todd said the club wanted to offer members modern Asian dining using the freshest ingredients.

"The decision to offer Taja Dining the space came after a rigorous tendering process," he said.

In line with Kingsgrove RSL Club's focus, Taja will be offering diners the very best of traditional Asian as well as refined food trends and flavours.

Diners can start with small plates of Peking Duck Pancakes, Pork Belly Bao, and the less traditional King Crab Tacos before moving on to larger offerings of Beef Short Ribs with Mushroom, Black Bean and Beef Jus or the more authentic Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Lamb, and freshly battered Tempura King Prawns.

Kamal and Kul, Taja's creators and directors of Porterhouse Bistro group, are currently running the catering operation of four other venues.

"Our menu is all about sharing a love of food and it will be constantly evolving," they said.
