Update
One hundred people, including children and adults, will be allowed into the water fun park at Sutherland Leisure Centre, which reopens tomorrow (Saturday).
At this stage, the facility will only operate on weekends and there won't be time restrictions imposed or bookings required.
Leisure centre visitors will have to wait till they arrive at the leisure centre to learn whether there is capacity in the water fun park or indoor pool.
Water fun park operating hours will be Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.
Sutherland Shire Council advised how use of the water fun park would be managed after announcing the reopening yesterday following a COVID-19 shutdown.
A spokeswoman said the council was "keenly focused on protecting the health and wellbeing of patrons and staff attending council facilities and has taken great care to implement necessary health measures and procedures to guard against the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community".
"The Sutherland Leisure Centre Water Fun Park has a capacity to host 100 people, inclusive of adults and children," she said.
"The indoor pool water play has a limit of 80 attendees and each swimming lane has a limit of 10 people.
"Leisure centre lifeguards will continue to monitor capacity throughout the advertised operating hours and if areas are deemed to be nearing capacity, patrons will be encouraged to use additional centre areas to ensure social distancing is adhered to.
"There are currently no time restrictions for patron use or bookings required, with patrons to be advised of facility capacity upon arrival.
"Council will continue to update patrons on any changes to the operation of our facilities and has adopted the current operating hours to ensure staff are able to maintain their regular focus on supporting the safety of patrons at our facilities as well as conducting additional COVID Safe practices required to minimise the risk of infection.
Further updates regarding the reopening of Como Pool will be provided to the community in coming weeks."

The water fun park at Sutherland Leisure Centre will reopen on weekends from Saturday, November 21.
Bookings are not required, but capacity limits will apply.
The hours of operation will be Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.
Features include slides, water fountains and play equipment to suit children of all ages and abilities.
Sutherland Shire Council announced the reopening in a Facebook post.
"Remember when visiting for recreational swim and play to keep a towel length between you (that's 1.5m) and time your visit to avoid periods of peak demand," the council said.
Further information on how demand will be managed is being sought from the council.
