Cyclist dies following Rockdale accident
A cyclist has died after being hit by a car at Rockdale.
The accident occurred just before 11am on Saturday at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Lister Avenue.
The cyclist, a 27-year-old man, was treated at the scene by an off-duty paramedic before ambulance crews arrived.
He was taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition but died during the afternoon.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
St George police are investigating.
