Results of Transport for NSW's community consultation for the proposed traffic flow improvements at the intersection of Forest, Bonds and Boundary roads at Peakhurst are now available online.
Transport for NSW thanked everyone who provided feedback during the consultation period.
Work on the intersection upgrade is due to start in early 2021.
Oatley MP, Mark Coure said the improvements include installing dedicated right turn lanes on Boundary and Bonds roads approaching Forest Road to increase efficiency, as well as upgrading the left turn lane on Forest Road in to Bonds Road to improve visibility.
"New pedestrian activated traffic lights will also be installed at the corner of Forest and Bonds roads, to boost safety for pedestrians," Mr Coure said.
The NSW Government is funding this project as part of the Urban Road Congestion Program, which is a $450 million investment towards easing congestion and reducing traffic delays on major roads.
The community will be updated as the project progresses.
