PD Magnum has been praised for his dogged pursuit of two suspects at Woolooware in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Approximately 2am on Sunday, Sutherland Police with the assistance of PD Magnum and his handler responded to an attempted robbery at Foreshore Boulevarde, Woolooware where the victim had been chased by two males armed with a knife and firearm.
A track was located through an oval and mangroves/boardwalk into the industrial area at Taren Point.
PD Magnum located an imitation firearm which had been concealed on the track as well as other property related to the offence.
The track continued leading into Resolution Drive where both suspects were located hiding under a trailer and construction fencing in a carpark.
They were both arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station where they were charged and refused bail to appear at Sutherland Court the following day.
