
The NSW Bureau of Meteorology has issued a strong wind warning for Sydney and the NSW South Coast.
The warning was issued shortly before 2pm today and will stay in place until midnight Saturday.
The updated marine wind warning summary for NSW said strong winds were predicted for Sydney's enclosed waters, Batemans coast and Eden coast for the remainder of today.
A strong wind warning has also been issued for the Sydney coast, Illawarra coast, Batemans coast, Hunter coast and Macquarie coast tomorrow, while the Eden coast is the subject of a gale warning for tomorrow.
A severe thunderstorm warning has also been issued for parts of NSW today, including the Riverina, while a flood watch is in place for Belubula, Tumut, Murrumbidgee and the Upper Murray.
