A large-scale search of the Royal National Park is continuing today for a man who has been missing for two weeks.
Christopher Deep, 36, of Camperdown, was reported missing to Inner West Police Local Area Command on Friday, February 26, but has not been seen since Tuesday, February 23.
The search centred on the Royal National Park after CCTV captured him with his bike at about 12.25pm that day at Loftus railway station.
Police say it has now been determined to be the last known sighting of Mr Deep.
Police believe he drove to Loftus railway station and was planning to ride his bike in nearby bushland.
A search of the national park commenced on Saturday and has continued every day since.
His family and police hold significant concerns for his safety.
NSW Police said officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command, assisted by NSW Police Rescue and the Bomb Disposal Unit will continue the search today.
Previous search efforts have involved personnel from State Emergency Services, NSW Rural Fire Service, Royal National Parks officers, Pol-Air and the Mounted Police unit.
Mr Deep is described as of Caucasian appearance, 180-185 centimetres tall, 70-75 kilograms, slim build, fair complexion, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, dark shorts, grey sneakers and a blue bike helmet. He was also carrying a backpack.
