Travelling to the Emerald Isle might not be possible these days, but you can enjoy the next best thing at Hurstville Entertainment Centre next week.
A Taste of Ireland: The Irish Music and Dance Sensation is kicking off its Australian regional tour run with a fitting St Patrick's Day performance at the entertainment centre on Wednesday, March 17.
The show is an extravaganza of feel-good Irish music and dance.
"Australians have always loved the live theatre experience," Taste of Ireland producer and directed Brent Pace said.
"I have no doubt our 2021 Australian tour will provide audiences with what they have been missing this last year."
The show has already entertained thousands of people pre-Covid, and now brings to the stage new sets, costumes, songs and effects to more than 90 cities and towns - starting with Hurstville.
A Taste of Ireland features a company of more than 20 of the world's leading Irish dancers and musicians, including world champions and faces familiar to fans of other well-known shows like Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
Star and co-producer Ceili Moore said it was great to bring some local Aussie talent and international guests to the stage for this tour.
"We are extremely proud of the company we have assembled for our 2021 tour," she said.
"We have the best local Australian talent and a few major stars from the international dance world."
A Taste of Ireland will be held at Hurstville Entertainment Centre from 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 17. Tickets start at $59.90.
