G'day readers,
With many in our community relying upon up to date vaccination news, we promise we will 'secure' the latest developments on the rollout for you as they happen.
We have submitted the following questions to the PM.
- What exactly does "securing" mean?
- Has the order been placed?
- Has all paperwork been completed?
- If coming from the EU, does it need the authorisation to depart?
- Has money been paid to Pfizer? If so, how much?
- Secured does not mean delivered as we have seen, so is there any guarantee it will be here in the time frame the PM outlined?
- How did the PM manage to get 20 million Pfizer doses overnight when for weeks he has been saying 'supply' problems were the cause of the slow vaccine rollout?
Hopefully, he values his local constituents and will answer them.
In other news, Murray Trembath is doing some more excellent community advocacy journalism and is following a parking issue at Engadine.
Merryn Porter tells us what the Bayside Council has to say about its role in Omeros on the Beach at Ramsgate Beach closing its doors.
Finally, I sat down with Hughes independent MP Craig Kelly for an extensive interview, and he didn't hold back. He talked about his plans and what caused the seismic split with his beloved conservative Liberal Party. It is a fascinating read.
Well, that's it from me for this Sunday. I hope your day is full of all the good things you deserve.
Enjoy your Sunday reads and thank you for reading the Leader and for subscribing to our weekly newsletter.
