We've had almost perfect surf conditions for the start of the surfing week in Cronulla with a surprise kick in the swell giving us a 4-5 ft south swell with good offshores winds until mid morning every day.
Monday mornings 2-3 ft waves soon turned into a good 3-4 ft swell with bigger sets-and yesterday it got bigger with a longer periods with 4-5 ft sets rolling through Wanda.
The winds also stayed offshore until mid-morning which gave surfers time to see both sides of the super moon high tide.
This morning the swell is still good and has swung a little to help spread the love up and down the beach-its still bigger at Wanda but its closing out a bit on the lower tides.
The forecast ahead shows that this south swell will start to drop and sit around the 2-3 ft mark into the weekend when it drops back on Saturday and swings to the nor-east eventually picking up on Monday back to 3-4 ft with offshores all next week.
The 2021 Woolworths NSW Junior State Titles pres. by Ocean and Earth will call Wollongong home this July.
The event will see 300 of NSW's best junior surfers competing for a coveted state title when the event kicks off from the 14 - 21 July 2021 on the Illawarra beaches.
Unlike previous years, where all qualifiers were determined by eight individual regional titles, the 2021 event will invite all junior competitors to enter in their respective age divisions-which shows that competitive numbers are dropping.
However, any surfers who have qualified at their respective regionals will hold down positions in the higher seeded round of the event.
Surfing NSW CEO Luke Madden thanked the Coffs Harbour region for hosting the event for the last three years and looks forward to seeing the event shift south of Sydney in 2021.
"The Woolworths NSW Junior State Titles is one of the blue-ribbon events on the Surfing NSW calendar and we can't wait to see it land in the Illawarra region for 2021.

The event will be fully mobile in the Illawarra area with Thirroul, Woonona, Bellambi, Wollongong, Bulli and Stanwell Park and Sandon Point all venue options.
