Sutherland Shire Council proposes to spend $76 million on infrastructure works in 2021-22.
Projects range from the $41.2 million Sutherland Entertainment Centre redevelopment to an upgrade of toilets at Shelly Beach and Oak Park.
The proposed works program is in a draft budget presented by staff to last week's council meeting, but still requires approval before being placed on public exhibition for feedback before it is confirmed.
An extraordinary meeting of council is due to be held next week after a budget snag.

The proposed $76 Capital Works Program for 2021-22 includes:
- Continued construction of the $41 million Sutherland Entertainment Centre refurbishment.
- $2.7 million towards commence of improvement works to Seymour Shaw Park, Miranda.
- Improvements to the surface and lighting of Bellingara Netball Courts, Miranda.
- An enhanced and more inclusive playground at Cooper Street Reserve, Engadine.
- Upgrades to Sandy Point Boat Ramp Improvements to amenities at Dunningham Park, Cronulla.
- Renewal works to ten local playgrounds and improvements to fitness facilities at five locations.
- More than $5 million towards sporting facility enhancements.
- More than $20 million towards footpaths, roadworks and traffic facilities.
- $1.5 million toward stormwater infrastructure.
- $1.4 million investment on new resources across eight library facilities.
The refurbishment of toilets and dressing sheds at Shelly Beach and Oak Park, Cronulla are another item in the proposed works program.
A heritage conservation management plan is currently being prepared for both pavilion buildings.
Funds are already allocated in 2020/21 for the completion of design, along with renewal works.
