
NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a Riverwood teenager who went missing over the weekend.
Marxus Prescott, 14, was last seen at his home in Pennsylvania Road, Riverwood, at about 11.30pm on Saturday.
Police were notified on Sunday morning after he failed to return home.
Campsie Police Area Command has commenced inquiries into his whereabouts and NSW Police issued an appeal on Sunday night for public assistance to locate the teen.
Police and his family have concerns for Marxus' welfare due to his young age.
He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 170 centimetres tall, thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.
He is believed to be utilising the public transport network and is known to frequent the City and Hurstville areas.
Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
