Art fans get excited - the Oatley 101 Society of Artists is ready to launch their special June sale.
The June Half Price Sale marks the society's first exhibition of 2021.
Preparations for the event are well under way, and the talented members are excited to offer their pieces at 50 per cent off the original price.
Society publicity officer Shirley Hagarty said this was a great chance for the public to score a quality piece of art for a steal.
"This will be a wonderful opportunity for the members to finally be able to present their art to the public, especially to folk who are looking to obtain new, high-quality paintings at greatly reduced prices," she said.
"Also, along with the framed paintings that will be hung, there will be unframed works, works on paper and cards available for purchase.
"With the high standard of work normally associated with the Oatley 101 Society Of Artists, it is guaranteed that on this occasion there will be some very good artwork at very good prices.
"This is a great opportunity not only for the members, but also the lovers of quality paintings - great art just there for the viewing."
The exhibition and sale will be held at the 1st Oatley West Scout Hall, 101 Woronora Parade, Oatley West. It will run between 10am and 5pm on June 5 and 6.
The Oatley 101 Society of Artists holds four annual exhibitions. Following next month's, the next public exhibition - the Members' Annual Awards Exhibition - will be held in October.
