Mark Aprilovic, who has been involved in Cronulla mall events since the 1990s, says he has never seen anything more successful than the jazz and blues festival, which was held on the weekend.
Thousands of people flocked to Cronulla for the three-day event, soaking up the beautiful sunshine and enjoying the live performances, market stalls, kerb-side retail, free screenings at the Hoyts cinema, kids' activities and a record fair.
The festival, which was held in the mall, parks and music venues, featured more than 100 established and upcoming acts performing across 12 stages.
Mr Aprilovic, the Cronulla Chamber of Commerce president, said the festival was "a huge success".
"This was the first time we have had it, and we are hoping to run it again in the future," he said.
"The planets aligned. The community and chamber members embraced it and the weather was perfect.
"People enjoyed the music and relaxed atmosphere and walked away with a skip in their step.
"The music organised by Geoff and Jad from Brass Monkey and the work of event organiser Robyn Adamski was fantastic.
