Could you go a lockdown disco? Civic Disability Services at Caringbah is hosting free online discos for people with disability, via video meeting platform Zoom. Called 'Everybody Dance Now!', each disco will reportedly be filled with fun, feel-good music and disco lights. Best of all, fancy dress is encouraged, so why not raid your wardrobe and get in costume for the event? The disco is part of the Civic@Home program, designed to promote health, well-being and connection during social isolation. While everyone is physically distanced, these discos allow participants to have fun, dance and let their hair down - in a Covid-safe manner. Civic hosted several Zoom discos last year, which the organisation said proved to be popular - not just with clients, but also with staff. So, if you're a disco diva who's keen to dance the afternoon away, get in touch with Civic on comms@civic.org.au or call 1300 692 484. The discos will take place on Saturdays, July 3 and 10, from 2pm to 4pm. For more information, visit civic.org.au/civicathome
