Redfern Region Enforcement Squad (RES) investigators have charged six men and seized cocaine, MDMA and $100,000 cash, as part of ongoing investigations into an alleged criminal syndicate coordinating a "Dial-a-Dealer" drug supply network.
In September 2017, detectives from Redfern RES established Strike Force Northrop to investigate and target the ongoing supply of cocaine within the Central Metropolitan Region.As part of ongoing investigations, officers received information relating to the supply of cocaine through a "Dial-a-Dealer" network, operating within the Sutherland Shire.
Following extensive inquiries, Strike Force Northrop investigators arrested a 26-year-old man on Ewos Parade, Caringbah, just before 3pm Friday.
Investigators, with assistance from the Central Metropolitan Region Operations Support Group (OSG), subsequently executed four search warrants at homes at Caringbah, Merrylands and Bella Vista.
During the searches, officers seized nearly 450g of cocaine which has an estimated potential street value of $185,000, MDMA, more than $100,000 cash, four Rolex watches and two extendable batons. The items will all undergo forensic examination.
A further five men - aged 21, 29, 30 and two aged 28 - were arrested during the operation and taken to local police stations.

A 28-year-old Bella Vista man was charged with 10 offences including supply prohibited drug (more than commercial quantity), two counts of supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance, four counts of possess prohibited drug, possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
A 29-year-old Caringbah man was charged with supply prohibited drug (more than commercial quantity), knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, knowingly direct activities of criminal group, and not comply with noticed direction re section 7/8/9 - COVID-19.
A 30-year-old Merrylands man was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (between small and indictable quantity), participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, possess prohibited drug, deal with property proceeds of crime, and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.
They were all refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday, July 17.
Since its inception in 2017, Strike Force Northrop investigators have seized more than 4.1kg of cocaine, 490g of MDMA, 1.1kg of cannabis and more than $1.12 million cash.Investigations under Strike Force Northrop are ongoing.
