Running a small business can be stressful enough on its own, let alone with the catastrophic impacts another Covid lockdown has had on local small business owners.
In a rare good Covid news story Bojana Kanazir the founder of Cronulla social media and content marketing company 'Popular with Purpose' decided she could do her bit and try and help some Sutherland Shire small businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic.
Bojana said we all have our loyal barber, beauty therapist, stylist, massage therapist and corner stores and right now they need us.
"For many of these owners dedicating their lives to their trade, unfortunately they are receiving little government funding or support and have a family to look after."
In a heartfelt gesture Bojana decided to donate five fresh produce boxes from AM Fresh Fruit & Veg to random Cronulla and Shire businesses that have been majorly affected by Covid closures-every week until the Covid lockdowns are over.
Cronulla boutique 'Meet That Store' owner Loren nominated Woolooware lifestyle store Regallo whose doors have been closed due to Covid restrictions for three weeks.
Regallo owner Loretta said it was a lovely gesture when the box came.
"It shows that there is still a true sense of community spirit alive in the Shire" Loretta said.
Bojana said business growth comes from personal growth and she is passionate about inspiring people and helping them grow,
"I'm just grateful I am able to do my bit and fulfill my 'why' in a meaningful and productive way "
