Top-seed Cameron Norrie will get another shot at a maiden ATP Tour title after defeating Taylor Fritz to reach the final of the Mifel Open in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Norrie suffered little turbulence as he cruised to a clinical 6-3 6-1 win over the American in Friday's semi-final, clinching a spot in what will be his fourth final of the season.
After losing all three of those matches, the 25-year-old is hopeful he is finally on the verge of taking that next step.
He told atptour.com: "I think it would be nice to go one step further, but I'm happy with the level I'm playing.
"I'm happy with the way I've approached the week, especially the first week on the hard courts. I'm really happy to be through to another final, especially here in Mexico.
"Hopefully I can bring my level for one more tomorrow and let's see how it goes, but looking forward to it."
He will meet American teenager Brandon Nakashima in the final, after the 19-year-old upset compatriot John Isner 7-5 6-4 in their semi-final clash.
Nakashama beat No.5 seed Jordan Thompson in the quarter-final, narrowly winning that encounter 6-3 4-6 7-6 (7-4).
