COVID alerts have been issued for Woolworths Kingsgrove and four train services between Kogarah and Kings Cross.
An initial discrepancy over the date of the exposure at the Woolworths supermarket was later cleared up, with the retailer acknowledging a mistake.
Woolworths said in an updated statement they had been notified a customer, who was a confirmed case, was in the supermarket on July 19 on Monday July 19 from 5:10pm to 5:45pm.
NSW Health said anyone who attended the supermarket on July 19 between 5pm and 6pm is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Please get tested even if you have had a test in recent days. If your date of exposure at this venue occurred in the past four days, you must get another test on day five from the date of exposure. Wear a mask around others and limit your movements until you get another negative result. You should continue to monitor for symptoms and if any symptoms occur, get tested again.
