'Bird lady' Krissy Stanley is an institution in the Sutherland Shire and now you could own her Oyster Bay home.
The pink walls and kitchen create a spectacle in the three-bedroom abode, which has "a lot of character", according to selling agent, Gavin Hill, of Highland Property Group.
When the Leader spoke on the phone with Mr Hill and Mrs Stanley, the duo were cooing over a chicken in a tutu that was reportedly strutting through the kitchen.
Mrs Stanley is best known for her business, Kris's Feathered Friends, which has her take an array of stunning hand-reared birds into aged care facilities to entertain the elderly.
Kris and her feathered mates have featured on Better Homes and Gardens, Fat Pizza, Housos, The Living Room and more, and now she plans to move to a smaller, single-level home to cater for her birds.
The home at 84 Georges River Crescent offers 'massive potential' at a sought-after address, according to the property listing.
Mrs Stanley said the home was "like a tree house, we're up high and we have beautiful views from every window, with water glimpses, bush and trees, it's leafy and open plan, like a big old country cottage."
She said it would make a "great family home" as it offered a big fenced-in pool and grassy front yard.
Mr Hill said the two-street access provided potential for dual occupancy - subject to council approval - and the property's north-facing aspect was a selling point.
Mrs Stanley said the home had hosted visitors of the likes of popular television veterans Dr Harry, and "Chris Brown has used my toilet", she laughed.
The home will go under the hammer at 5.30pm on Wednesday, August 11. For more information, call Melissa Hatheier on 0419 213 146 or Gavin Hill on 0416 207 883. Go to bit.ly/3fibEE4
