Don't forget not to vote this weekend.
This was the message distributed by Bayside Council today on all its social media platforms.
The elections for NSW councils were due to be held on September 4 after being put back a year from the scheduled 2020 date because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the second lockdown, the elections were postponed again - this time until Saturday, December 4.
But the changes have left some voters confused.
"It appears that the electorate still believe that the council elections are being held this Saturday, September 4," a council spokesperson said.
"Can we get the message out that they can relax this Saturday and look forward to voting on Saturday, December 4."
The council distributed the message on Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter.
"Hopefully this will help get the message out that they can relax this Saturday and look forward to voting in December," the council spokesperson said.
