Fire and Rescue crews worked to free a man trapped in a car following a collision on Slade Road, Bexley North last night.
The accident happened around 9.20pm with reports that a ute reversing into a driveway in Slade Road near the intersection of Irwin Crescent was hit by an oncoming car travelling towards Bexley Road.
Fire and Rescue crews from Hurstville and Campsie responded to the accident and found one person trapped by injury in the ute.
They worked for more than an hour to free the driver, cutting away the side of the vehicle.
He was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and was found to have a fractured femur.
He was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Another man was assessed at the scene but declined treatment.
