Rose petals, ballgowns and tuxedos and Osher Gunsberg can only mean one thing - The Bachelorette is back.
And this season, there are two contestants from Sutherland Shire, and one who calls St George home.
This year's Bachelorette is also setting some new ground, with Brooke Blurton becoming the very first Bachelor or Bachelorette to welcome suitors of any gender into the mansion. She is also the first of Indigenous descent.
St George's Jamie Lee Dayz was already very familiar with Brooke heading into this season, and only signed up to try her hand with the 26-year-old.
The pair previously appeared as contestants on Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins' season.
"There is a lot that I know about Brooke, but there is also a lot to learn," the psychology student said.
"Brooke never fails to surprise me.
"I knew if I didn't take this chance with Brooke, I'd always be wondering what could have been."
The 30-year-old said she was "thrilled we're finally seeing someone representing more than one minority on national TV".
"I'm incredibly proud to be part of what I hope to be a global standard for the media representing equality and acceptance, not just on our television sets but in society in general," she said.
"I personally hope every viewer learns something they didn't know before about Brooke - her culture and what it's like to be bisexual in today's world.
"I hope everyone tunes in, comes with an open mind and sees that love comes in many forms."
Cronulla podiatrist Steve Pliatsakis said he was "honoured and privileged" to be part of such a "groundbreaking" season.
"It's so great that love is being celebrated in all forms, regardless of gender," the 29-year-old said.
"I love that LGBTQ and Indigenous communities are being represented and Brooke will do both groups so proud.
"I hope this show sets the trend and is the first of many to incorporate both heterosexual and same sex couples."
The self-confessed goofball loves being active and having a good time, and said he was looking for someone "to really light up my world".
"I saw Brooke on Nick's season of The Bachelor and thought she was absolutely amazing, incredibly beautiful and super sweet," he said.
"After meeting her she exceeded all my expectations.
"I decided to try my luck on The Bachelorette solely to meet Brooke.
"I had a massive crush on her from the first time I saw her on screen."
Johann Alessandrini, a carpenter who also grew up in the shire, wasn't as familiar with Brooke going into the mansion.
"I intentionally didn't do too much research on Brooke," the 27-year-old said.
"I did have a little sticky-beak to see if we were compatible, but that was it.
"I knew she wouldn't have known me, so I felt it would have been more natural if we got to know each other at the same pace."
The passionate martial artist said he couldn't pass up the opportunity to join the show.
"It was an opportunity that I thought might never present itself again," he said.
"I never thought I was really the type of guy to go onto a show like The Bachelorette, but I also couldn't deny the opportunity for personal growth.
"There's some really interesting personalities in the mansion this year.
"There are males and females all vying for Brooke's heart - mix that in with a couple of group dates and cocktail parties and you've got yourself a good watch."
The Bachelorette debuts on Ten tonight at 7.30pm.
