The Frightful 80s Drive-in Cinema is returning to Donnelly Park in Connells Point on Saturday, October 30, just in time for Halloween.
Attendees can come in costume and dress their car in an 80s Halloween-theme for the chance to win a $500 voucher for Best Dressed Vehicle.
The event is free but people are encourage to get there early.
There'll be food and dessert trucks as well as a screening of the 80s cult classic vampire film, The Lost Boys.
Georges River Council mayor, Kevin Greene welcomed the news of the council's first in-person event since coming out of lockdown.
"With restrictions easing, it is so great to be able to see events like this again in our community that bring people together," Councillor Greene said.
Don a spooky outfit and settle in for a hair-raising night under the stars.
