St George kept their undefeated start to the season intact with a four-wicket win against Penrith on Saturday at Hurstville Oval.
After losing the toss and bowling, the Saints took 4-23 to slow the good start from the visitors and keep them in check throughout the 50-overs.
Jonathon Craig Dobson was the star with the ball taking 6-45 to help dismiss Penrith for 232 despite Jordan Watson's unbeaten knock of 70 off 62 balls.
In reply, the in-form pair of Blake Nikitaras (50) and Blake Macdonald (39) set the platform for the chase with Luke Bartier (45) and Thomas Vane Tempest (41 not out) playing key roles in the victory. Sunday's Twenty20 Cup was washed out.
