Bayside Council has almost completed the upgrade of its adventure playground at Lance Studdert Reserve, Kyeemagh.
The popular playground now has;
a net climbing structure and slide unit, all access spinning carousel, tugboat rocker;
a traditional swing, baby swing and inclusive pod swing;
nature play elements including balance beams, stepping logs and rock boulders;
a variety of formal and informal seating;
a drinking fountain, bin and bike rack; and
a double sail shade structure, with additional shade trees around the playspace
The council is completing the landscaping with the planting of new shade trees.
The new playground is expected to be open before Christmas.
Funding for this project was provided through the NSW Government's Everyone Can Play grant program.
