Maria Rojas scored a hat-trick on her starting debut while there were also goals for Princess Ibini, Rachel Lowe and a stunning strike from Ally Green.

Head coach Ante Juric said they wouldn't be getting carried away but obviously they are very pleased.

"We've got great strength in depth and when we lose players to international duty (Siemsen & Vine) we have some great players to come back in."

The men's team are into the FFA Cup semi-finals for the fourth time after an Elvis Kamsoba goal,after defeating Brisbane Roar 1-0 last week- they play the Central Coast on Tuesday night (18th) at Kogarah at 7pm in the semi finals.

In the A-League they continue a four game unbeaten run after being held to a 1-1 draw by the resilient Brisbane Roar side and now move within five points of the top of the Isuzu Ute A-League ladder

Coach Corica said he was a little disappointed they didn't get all three points.

"I think first half especially we dominated, we got the goal and gave away a sloppy one towards the end of the half.

"It probably evened up in the second half but we still had the better of the chances.

"We had three one on ones with the keeper, Harry had two and Woody had one as well to seal the game but we couldn't take them."

The next Netstrata A League game is on Feb 12.
