Lunar New Year will be celebrated in Hurstville later this month with the return of the Little Lunar Night Market in Hurstville Plaza to welcome in the Year of the Tiger.
The night market will include food and artisan market stalls and children's activities, lion dancing and stilt walkers.
Centrepiece will be a spectacular three-metre tall "Year of The Tiger" installation in Hurstville Plaza.
Little Lunar is a part of Georges River Council's In Good Taste program which is funded by the NSW Government's The Festival of Place.
The event is also sponsored by the SBS Corporation.
The Little Lunar event replaced Georges River Council's traditional Lunar New Year celebration, which is considered one of the largest of its kind in the state outside of the City of Sydney.
Little Lunar will be held at Hurstville Plaza, Friday, January 28 from 4pm - 10.00pm.
The event will adhere to the NSW Public Health Orders.
