Wrong, wrong, wrong! Craig Kelly has again been misleading Federal Parliament on wind farms with claims that have already been investigated and shown to be nonsense.
No, Craig, wind turbines don't make anyone sick. The only people complaining are those who missed out on the nice little earner their neighbours are onto for hosting turbines.
When the symptoms of a disease match stress symptoms, then a sceptical person would demand pretty strong evidence to show there's any basis for the health claims. Wind farms do not make anyone sick. They can't. They're healthy.
Craig, you think wind farms are expensive because they cost more than existing coal power stations? And let me guess: in your ledger you've factored in zero cost for the carbon and other pollution spewed out by dirty coal plants every day? And you'll justify this by closing your eyes and ears to 150 years of scientific evidence on the greenhouse effect, global warming and climate change.
Sorry, Craig, that's fairytale thinking. We're sick of you sledging a great industry that supplies clean, zero-emission power cheaper than any other source.
You're hiding from the science on wind turbines, because it doesn't support your point of view, just as you do on climate science.
We have the right to expect better of our elected reps, regardless of their political persuasion.
I challenge you to debate me in public so voters can hear just what a load of irresponsible nonsense you've been spouting in Parliament and make up their own minds. On renewable energy. And on you.
