Detectives from the Fraud and Cybercrime Squad have arrested a third person over the sale of fraudulent debts at a Kirrawee smash repair business.
A man, 66, was arrested just after 8.30am today at Sutherland police station.
Police allege that fraudulent work invoices had been created for a total of $36,889,704, with 10 financial institutions identified as having factored those invoices.
The man was charged with five counts of obtain financial advantage by deception and nine counts of fraud.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Sutherland Local Court on September 19.
A woman, 67 and another man, 66, are expected to appear in Sutherland Local Court on the same date.
