Saturday night fever brought out the worst of yobbo behaviour from fans leaving the ground after the Sharks-Dragons derby.

Hundreds of drunken footy patrons wreaked havoc on the neighbourhood spoiling a good night of footy.
It was reminiscent of some of the bad old days when poor behaviour from drunken fans caused some neighbours to take the club to court for failing in its duty of care.
What am I talking about? Groups of drunks disturbing the peace, using abusive language, urinating in public, exposing themselves shamelessly, smashing bottles, damaging parked cars and property, fighting and staggering dangerously in the middle of the road.
I felt sorry for my neighbours in this normally quiet area of Woolooware.
I also felt sorry for some families whose children were exposed to such behaviour.
Not a security guard to be seen (and who could blame them) and no police.
The Sharks management and the NRL need to address this quickly or families will boycott the home games.
I have a few suggestions: ban alcohol during Saturday night games at these grounds (this won't happen).
Play more afternoon games which are family-friendly.
A visible and strong police presence on streets around the club would make a big difference.
The rugby league has some blame to bear for their hypocrisy in banning performance-enhancing drugs in sport and yet promoting and profiting from the biggest drug, alcohol.
People at Kings Cross are now better behaved than some of our own suburban locals who can't hold their liquor.
