WHEN a Leader staff member returned from a happy lunch experience, it was clearly time to check out Kingsgrove's Ricoza Caffe.

So, yes, this is a popular venue for lunch but also for breakfast and dinner.
At breakfast, it is hard to beat a Ricoza special which is grilled tomato, bacon, eggs (fried, poached or scrambled), your choice of chips or hash browns, plus toast and coffee — and all for just $10.
Staff member Kaye Klaritis said the Ricoza breakfast seemed to be a popular choice among workmen on the nearby building site.
Kaye also commented that the name — Ricoza — dates back 10 years to former owners Rico and Rosa, but she isn't sure where the double 'f' in Caffe comes from!
As well as the $10 special, ham and cheese omelettes ($11) are also sought-after breakfast fare.
The cafe is open from 6.30am Mondays to Saturdays, from 7am on Sundays and open for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, closing at 2pm on Sundays.
Gourmet sandwiches and gourmet wraps are lunch-time specials while dinner specials include lamb souvlaki with tzatiki and chicken breast souvlaki.
