A man is in a serious, but stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed several times outside an internet cafe at Hurstville last night in what police say was a ''violent attack.''

Hurstville police were called to the FBI internet and gaming centre on Forest Road, where they found the man, 21, with several stab wounds.

Paramedics treated him, then took him to St George Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Forensic specialists and Hurstville police are investigating the incident and would like to speak to three men , described of Asian appearance, who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Hurstville Police are holding a press conference about the stabbing at 11.30am today.
