Owned and managed by the popular Tracey Wu, Tre Bob is an ideal venue for special events including, of course, Father’s Day which is being celebrated on Sunday, September 1, when bookings are still available for lunch and dinner.
Special items on the Tre Bob menu include a deservedly popular entree of sizzling chilli prawns cooked in a hot pot with garlic, and Tracey’s home-made tomato puree, deservedly very popular with patrons.
Also popular as a main dish is a mixed seafood hot pot containing Moreton Bay bugs, king prawns, fish and squid in a mild curry sauce.
Tre Bob’s home-made desserts all deserve their popularity and include strawberry tulips, profiteroles with custard, cream and chocolate sauce, a rhubarb and apple crumble with hot custard and ice-cream and a cream and passion fruit brulee.
But the creme de la creme of desserts has always been Tracey’s Bombe Alaska for two, a traditional dessert which had its origins at Delmonico’s Restaurant in New York more than 100 years ago.
With two function rooms, Tre Bob also specialises in private parties and special occasions.
