SUTHERLAND Music Club's annual Youth Music Awards showcased musical compositions by young entrants.

Composers were presented with awards at the recent concert.
The winning composition was by Angus Evans, 17, who performed Journey to the Stars with the Inaburra Concert Band.
Veronica Tsang, 14, came second and Jonathon Karanikas, 17, placed third.
