ARNCLIFFE Public School was inspired to create its version of Sydney's popular "Sculptures by the Sea" outdoor exhibition held at Bondi until last Sunday.
The school's "Sculptures on the Green" was a collaboration of all classes, where pupils made 25 sculptures to showcase their creative and artistic skills.
Children created a scarecrow, picket fences, a large Scrabble board, a Christmas tree from egg cartons, caterpillars and a scene from the Mad Hatter's tea party in Alice in Wonderland.
Classes researched artists including Picasso and Salvador Dali as the inspirations for their projects.
