AUTHOR Fleur McDonald spoke about her life on a 3200-hectare station in Western Australia at Rockdale Library last week. Ms McDonald, whose latest novel Crimson Dawn draws on her experiences, helps run sheep and cattle on her property.
Issues such as drought, isolation and the back-breaking work that comes with running a farm are familiar challenges in real life and in her fiction. Readers got the chance to ask questions and meet the author. Picture: Lisa McMahon
