Jewellery store owners chased a man after he tried to break into their Rockdale shop last week.

At 3.45pm on April 17, a man with his face covered and carrying a green Enviro bag attempted to smash into the glass-sliding door of the Tramway Arcade shop.
Brick used in attempted Rockdale robbery
He swung the bag with a brick inside and shattered the display cabinet.
He ran away empty-handed towards Keats Avenue, leaving the bag behind.
The offender is described as having a solid build and wearing dark clothing.
Witnesses are urged to come forward.
