Sunni Muslims slaughter Shiite Muslims in Iraq; Boko Haram Islamists murder Christians in Nigeria; Buddhists kill Rahingya Muslims in Myanmar; Christian anti-Balaka militiamen massacre Muslims in the Central African Republic; and al-Shabaab Islamists are butchering non-Muslim Kenyans.
All these events are truly horrendous and can be checked on news sites.
But incredibly, every killing has been planned, performed, sanctioned (supposedly) and justified in the name of God.
I have used the following quote before, but today it is even more applicable than ever.
"Good people do good things and evil people do evil things, but for good people to do evil things, takes religion."
