Commuters should question the real merits of Transport Minister Berejiklian's project to "refresh" Caringbah, Gymea, Sutherland, Hurstville and Kogarah railway stations (Leader, July 3). I'm sure they'd gladly forgo some of the "painting, landscaping and seating" if they knew the funds instead went towards lifts at Arncliffe and Narwee, so that disabled patrons have equal access to our transport system.
