CRONULLA born-and-bred model and TV presenter Cheyenne Tozzi has been named as the face of Westfield Miranda’s redevelopment.
Ms Tozzi was chosen because she ‘‘personifies the grace and beauty of the local surroundings’’, said a Westfield spokeswoman.
The model, who scored the lucrative cover of Harper’s Bazaar when she was 13, said she felt honoured to be named ambassador for the $435million redevelopment.
‘‘Growing up at Cronulla, I spent so much time shopping at Westfield Miranda with my mum and my sister, Tahyna, and going to the cinema with my friends,’’ she said.
‘‘I am excited to be part of the new Westfield Miranda.
‘‘Finally, Sutherland Shire will have the ultimate shopping and dining destination.’’
It was also announced Zimmermann, Sass & Bide and Willow will open stores when the development is completed later this year.
The project will see the centre expand by 19,000 square metres, with the addition of more than 100 specialty retailers.
