Police will not tolerate antisocial or offensive behaviour of any kind.
Sutherland police licensing supervisor Sergeant Scott Robinson said "Mad Monday" parties could be tarnished by players and officials who commit alcohol-related crimes such as assault, drink-driving and malicious damage.
"This type of behaviour is criminal and will not be tolerated under any circumstances throughout the current finals campaign," Sergeant Robinson said.
Pubs and clubs are also being reminded to consider the conditions of their function licences and enforce the responsible service of alcohol.
