All roads led to Gannons Park Peakhurst on Sunday for another very successful Lugarno Spring Festival.
Organised by the Lugarno Lions, the festival has clocked up 35 years.
Lugarno Lion Wayne Dorahy said the park was packed all day with an estimated 40,000 people attending.
‘‘The SES who look after the main carpark said there were the biggest number of cars they’ve ever seen,’’ Mr Dorahy said.
‘‘New stall holders couldn’t believe how big the festival was.
‘‘The food was all sold out, the rides were very popular, even the camels worked all day long.’’
The money raised will be given to various St George charities.
