Executive chef Oswin Ribeiro and his delightful team of pastry chefs have been working hard over the last few months to invent a new style of high tea dining at the Bistro Fax Restaurant & Bar — home to the five-star boutique style Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney, located in the heart of the city.
Mr Ribeiro and his team recently won Silver in the 2011 Australia Dilmah High Tea Challenge which inspired them to become even more creative with their high tea offering.
"Our afternoon tea strives to recreate some of those classical choices of finger foods, the cucumber sandwich, roast beef and cress, curry puffs, strawberry swiss rolls, lemon tarts, the classical scones with preserves and clotted cream and fruit tarts," Mr Ribeiro said.
The new high tea menu is a light creation to keep you going until the evening or while entertaining a client.
It's also a perfect way to say thank you to Mum, or simply a gorgeous excuse for catching up with friends, while sipping on a hot cuppa during the cold winter days, or if you prefer a glass of bubbly.
Prices start from $40 per person.
Bistro Fax High Tea is available daily, from 10am to 6pm.
