As a youth and disability support worker in the shire, I have first-hand insight into the important role community services play in the lives of residents. That's why I am an enthusiastic advocate for the community and will seek to improve funding for local community services. I have a certificate IV in community services work and I am studying a diploma of community services work.
In addition to my role as a youth and disability support worker, I am a volunteer at Engadine Community Services, teaching seniors how to use computers and access the internet. My priorities include improving public transport and enhancing the shire for current and future generations by maintaining parks, sporting fields and open spaces. This is an important factor in the quality of life for residents of all ages.
I have been a member of Loftus Student Association Board, Sutherland Shire Youth Council and Sutherland Trade Union Club’s Community Initiative Group, have played for Bonnet Bay Soccer Club for more than 15 years, and have been a lance corporal in the Sutherland army cadets.
